
A meeting was held at the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population with Wajiha Qamar, Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan.
Deputy Minister Hidayat Abdullayev noted that the friendship and brotherly relations between the two countries have also created favourable conditions for expanding cooperation in the social sphere.
The meeting included discussions on opportunities for cooperation in the areas of labour migration, employment, vocational training and human capital development.
The sides also exchanged views on the preparation of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two ministries on cooperation in the field of vocational training.
Wajiha Qamar highlighted the significant potential for expanding cooperation and sharing experience in vocational training, expressing Pakistan's interest in further strengthening ties in this area.
The meeting concluded with an exchange of views on future cooperation.
