Azerbaijan National Cinema Day Celebrated with DOST Volunteers

A special film screening was held at Park Cinema to mark 2 August – Azerbaijan National Cinema Day. Members of the Young DOST and Silver DOST subprogrammes of the DOST Agency took part in the event.

The gathering began with participants socializing and taking commemorative photos. It was followed by the screening of the film "Taghiyev 4: School". Bringing together young people and representatives of the older generation for a shared cinema experience served as a positive example of intergenerational integration and meaningful leisure activities.

The DOST Agency regularly organizes social, cultural, and educational events for its volunteers.

It should be noted that 2 August has been celebrated as Azerbaijan National Cinema Day, the professional holiday of cinema workers, pursuant to the Decree signed by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev on 18 December 2000.
