The Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Sahil Babayev, spoke at the opening of the third day of the "Baku Climate Action Week"

At the event titled "Green Economy - Addressing Skills, Finance, and Just Transition Issues," the minister stated that our country fully supports the transition to a green economy aimed at environmental protection.

He emphasized the importance of ensuring that this transition is comfortable and optimal for all participants in the economy, and takes place in a fair and inclusive environment, particularly in terms of safeguarding social and labor rights.

The experiences shared during Baku Climate Action Week are expected to open new opportunities for human capital development at both national and regional levels. They will facilitate the formation of a workforce tailored to the transition to a green economy, enable effective utilization of its potential, and create a foundation for identifying new initiatives and innovative approaches.
