The delegation from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation visited the DOST Agency

The DOST Agency welcomed a delegation led by Ms. Zehra Zümrüd Selçuk, the Director General of the Statistical, Economic, and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC), during her visit to our country as part of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

During the meeting, Farid Mammadov, the Chair of the Board of the DOST Agency, provided information about the DOST concept to the guests. He noted that the DOST centers offer 160 types of services related to labor and employment, social protection, targeted state social assistance, disability and rehabilitation, pensions, social insurance, and more. He also highlighted that the DOST concept is recognized among the world's leading practices and has achieved success on the international stage.

The guest was also provided with detailed information about the DOST Index, a tool for monitoring and evaluating the quality of service centers operating in the social sector. It was noted that the DOST Index is the only comprehensive assessment tool in the world aimed at evaluating the quality of services in the social field.

Zehra Zümrüd Selçuk shared her positive impressions of the DOST model and provided information about the activities of the organization she leads.

During the meeting, there was an exchange of ideas regarding future cooperation between the DOST Agency and SESRIC.

Subsequently, presentations were made for the delegation on the DOST concept and the electronic systems and digital services created in the fields of labor, employment, and social protection.
