Discussions have been held on the possibilities for further expanding cooperation in the social field with Turkey

At the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, Cahit Bagcı, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to our country, held discussions with Fatih Bilal Alodalı, the embassy's advisor on labor and social protection issues.

Minister of Labor and Social Protection, Sahil Babayev, emphasized that the active political dialogue based on mutual respect, trust, and brotherly relations between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has led to a consistently growing development of bilateral relations in all areas. He noted that the relations between the two countries have reached an alliance level and are successfully continued within the framework of regional and international organizations.

It was reported that there is a successful cooperation experience between the two countries in the field of labor and social protection, and that the legal framework in this area is continually expanding. During the past period, eight documents related to cooperation in labor and social protection have been signed between Azerbaijan and Turkey, and a new draft document concerning cooperation in pension provision has also been prepared.

During the meeting, S. Babayev congratulated F. Alodal, who previously served as the head of the Turkish Ministry of Labor and Social Security's Directorate General for Occupational Safety and Health, on his appointment as the advisor on labor and social protection issues at the Turkish embassy in our country. He wished him success in his future endeavors.

C. Bagcı expressed his satisfaction that the high-level relations between the two countries extend to the social sphere as well. The meeting included an exchange of ideas on opportunities for further expanding cooperation in the areas of labor, employment, and social protection.
