A discussion has been held on the future development of social sector cooperation with Turkiye

The Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Sahil Babayev, met with the Deputy Minister of Family and Social Services of Turkiye, Adil Çalışkan, and the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection, Lütfihak Alpkan, within the framework of the COP29 event held in Baku.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that, through the joint efforts of the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkiye, the relations between the two friendly nations, based on friendship and brotherhood, have been continuously developing and have reached the level of alliance.

The importance of COP29, hosted by our country, as well as the significance of events related to labor and social protection held within the framework of this event, was highlighted.

It was noted that there is a successful cooperation experience between Azerbaijan and Turkiye in the areas of labor, employment, social protection, and social services, and that the legal framework in these areas continues to expand. It was emphasized that the documents signed in recent years have contributed to the development of cooperation between our countries in these fields.

An exchange of views was held on the future development of cooperation in labor, social protection, and social services.
