From today, the reception of citizens in the DOST centers has been restored.
Due to the special quarantine regime announced in our country from June 21, the reception of citizens was suspended in DOST centers. Applications were accepted only online. From August 5, 2020, the reception of citizens has been restored. The centers were open to the public from 9am to 6pm.
On the first day, a record number of citizens applied to DOST centers in Baku. The total number of citizens who applied was 1718 people.
74% of citizens' appeals to DOST centers were for services in the field of labor pensions and social benefits, 17% for services in the field of employment, 5% for services in the field of disability and health disabilities, 4% and on the issuance of certificates on the activities of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
During the process of serving citizens, the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) on protection against the Covid-19 virus were followed. In addition to providing employees with protective masks, the DOST centers have created conditions for citizens to use disinfectants. The citizens visiting the centers were also advised to wear protective masks and keep social distance.
It should be noted that due to the special quarantine regime applied in our country, a special work regime has been applied in DOST centers since June 21. Citizens' appeals were accepted only by e-mail and the Call Center 142.
It should be noted that currently there are 3 DOST centers in Baku. These centers serve the registered population of Yasamal, Sabail, Garadagh, Nizami, Sabunchu, Surakhani, Khazar and Pirallahi districts of the capital.
