Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia signed a cooperation document

Minister of Labor and Social Protection Sahil Babayev met with Minister of Human Resources and Social Development of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ahmed Suleiman Al Raji in online format.

Emphasizing that the relations between Azerbaijan and the SEC are constantly expanding, S.Babayev noted the special attention of the leaders of the two countries to the strengthening of friendly relations and cooperation between our countries.

He noted the historic victory of the Azerbaijani Army in the Patriotic War under the leadership of President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev. He said that our territories, which have been under Armenian occupation for nearly 30 years, were liberated from Armenian occupation in November 2020. Babayev said that the process of restoration and reconstruction of our native lands destroyed as a result of the Armenian aggression has begun. During the Second Karabakh War, the SAC expressed its support for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan as a friendly country (as well as within the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation), for which it expressed its gratitude.

Babayev spoke about the recent reforms in the social sphere in our country, the economic and social support measures taken during the pandemic. He stressed the great potential for expanding labor cooperation and active exchange of experience between the two countries. He said that the draft memorandum sets important priorities in this area.
