The European Social Network (ESN) is receiving nominations for the European Social Services Awards

The European Social Network (ESN) is receiving nominations for the European Social Services Awards (ESSA) to mark the effort, commitment and outstanding achievements of social services in the past months. There are five categories to apply:

• Social Innovation

• Outstanding Team

• Collaborative Practice

• Research Practice

• Technology Tools

The Awards will seek to honour the development of new innovative practice during the pandemic, creative solutions to provide care, the collaboration with other sectors to respond to the crisis, as well as the adoption of new technology tools and research that boosted knowledge of the impact of Covid-19 on social services.

Submit your project here by the deadline of 3 September.

It should be noted that in August 2020, DOST Agency was recognized by the European Social Network as an institution implementing reforms and innovations in the field of fast and unimpeded delivery of social services to citizens. DOST Agency participated in the nomination of "Technology tools" with the project "Life with rights and dignity - more than life" and was included in the list of finalists.

As a result of the successful introduction of the DOST Concept during and after the competition, on December 14, 2020, the DOST Agency received an invitation from the European Social Network to become a member of the Council of the Network, and the DOST Agency became a member of the Council of the European Social Network.

Farid Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of DOST Agency, participated as an expert in the international conference dedicated to the development of the future of social services held by the European Social Network from June 30 to July 1, 2021 and made important recommendations and suggestions, and the proposals were included in the agenda and discussion theses of the ESN conference scheduled for 2022.

It should be noted that DOST Agency participates in the ESSA-2021 competition with new projects in the "Successful Team" and "Social Innovations" nominations.
