Farms created for war veterans were inspected in Shirvan city

In the post-war period, farms were created within the framework of the self-employment program for 9,500 people who were members of the families of martyrs and participants of the war.

Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Sahil Babayev and Head of Shirvan City Executive Authority Ilgar Abbasov inspected small farms created for war veterans in Shirvan city under the self-employment program.

Veterans of the Second Karabakh War, Kahramanov Rashad Rafiq oglu, were provided with equipment to create a barber shop, and Mustafayev Mukhtar Alisafa oglu, a door and window manufacturing workshop, were provided with equipment within the framework of the self-employment program.

R. Kahramanov and M. Mustafayev expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the attention and care shown to the war participants and the social support measures implemented in relation to them. Both war veterans said that they are working hard to develop the farms they created with the support of the self-employment program.

In accordance with the instructions of the head of state, a large-scale social support program for members of the families of martyrs and war participants is being implemented in the post-war period. Within the framework of the social support program implemented by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, 264,000 services were provided to 122,000 people belonging to those categories. In particular, 16,500 people were involved in active employment programs, of which 9,500 small farms were created within the framework of the self-employment program.
