Issues of future cooperation with Moldova in the social field were discussed

Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Sahil Babayev and Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Moldova Alexey Buzu had a meeting in video format.

S. Babayev congratulated A. Buzu on his new appointment - the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Moldova, and emphasized that the relations between the two countries are constantly developing with the joint efforts of the heads of state of Azerbaijan and Moldova.

It was pointed out that the trade turnover of Azerbaijan and Moldova continues to grow and increased by 3.8 times last year, 63 cooperation documents were signed between our countries in the past period, and the role of these documents in the expansion of relations from year to year was brought to attention.

The importance of the "Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Moldova on cooperation in the field of labor, employment and social protection" signed in October of last year for active cooperation between the two ministries was emphasized.

The achievements of reforms carried out in recent years in the fields of labor, employment and social protection in Azerbaijan have been brought to attention. Information was given about the successful experience gained in the automation of services in these areas, and the DOST concept, which is highly valued as a leading practice at the international level. It was noted that we are ready to share the experience of DOST, as well as other positive experiences gained as a result of social reforms, with Moldova.
