The new order signed by President Ilham Aliyev on April 26, 2023 "On the provision of lump-sum financial assistance to persons who participated in the Second World War in 1941-1945, widows of soldiers who died during the war or later, and persons awarded with medals for selfless work on the back front" is another manifestation of high attention and concern for citizens of that category.
According to the order, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Second World War, lump-sum assistance in the amount of 1500 manat will be paid to each of the 57 people who participated in that war.
The one-time financial assistance by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population will be transferred to the bank accounts of the participants of the Second World War and other relevant persons.
