A meeting was held with the mission of the World Bank on the "Employment Support in Azerbaijan" project

The evaluation mission of the World Bank on the "Employment Support in Azerbaijan" project was at the DOST Agency.

Before the meeting, the delegation got acquainted with the services provided to the population at Baku DOST Center No. 1. The guests were given detailed information about the activity of DOST centers, it was emphasized that the concept of DOST created conditions for the provision of state social services in our country from a "single window", based on the principle of citizen satisfaction.

Later, a presentation on the DOST concept was shown to the guests at the meeting. In the presentation, citizens were informed about the services provided in the DOST centers in the fields of social protection and social security, medical and social expertise and rehabilitation, social insurance, labor and employment.

During the meeting, discussions were held about the work done by the DOST Agency within the framework of the "Employment Support in Azerbaijan" project and the services provided to citizens in this field.

It should be noted that the "Employment support in Azerbaijan" project is jointly implemented by the State Employment Agency and the World Bank under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population. The aim of the project is to expand the self-employment program based on the best practices and to involve persons with disabilities who are registered as unemployed, family members of martyrs, internally displaced persons, targeted state social assistance recipients, women, youth and other persons from vulnerable groups into the self-employment program and their formal employment at the expense of the World Bank funds. is the creation of access to the labor market and decent employment.
