In accordance with the tasks given at the meeting dedicated to the socio-economic results of the six months of 2023 under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the continuation of social reforms and the preparation of a new social package have been set as one of the main tasks.
Sahil Babayev, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, said this at the board meeting held at the ministry.
It was emphasized that one of the priority directions is the involvement of citizens who have been relocated to territories freed from occupation in active employment measures within the framework of the State Program on "Great Return". In order to ensure the permanent employment of those persons, the importance of involving them in vocational training courses was noted.
Another priority is the implementation of social infrastructure projects in those areas. In this direction, DOST center and Vocational Training Center, rehabilitation center in Kalbajar and DOST branches will be established in other liberated regions.
S. Babayev noted the goals in the direction of introducing innovations in the system of management and services in the social sphere in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, building social infrastructure in accordance with modern requirements, and increasing the accessibility of social services.
