A meeting was held at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population with the delegation from the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Turkey, which visited our country.
Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Kerimov said that relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey are based on the factor of friendship, brotherhood and unity of peoples. He noted that through the efforts of the heads of state of Azerbaijan and Turkey, stable and long-term development of relations between our countries has been achieved, rising to the level of strategic partnership.
It was highlighted that targeted steps have been taken to strengthen relations with brotherly Turkey in the areas of labor, employment, and social protection. Additionally, it was mentioned that the legal framework for cooperation in this area is constantly expanding. Over the past period, six documents on cooperation in the field of labor, employment, and social protection have been signed between the two structures.
During the visit, the delegation toured DOST center No. 1, where they familiarized themselves with the process of providing 159 services in the social sphere according to the "single window" principle. This process operates on an operational and transparent basis in accordance with the convenience of citizens. The guests were given presentations on the DOST concept and digital achievements in the social sphere.
At a meeting with the delegation at the DOST Agency, Chairman of the Board of Directors Farid Mammadov informed about the activities of the agency. Attention was focused on the international successes of the agency, on the fact that a number of other countries are also interested in applying the experience of DOST, and answers to questions from guests were given.
