A delegation of the DOST Agency is on a visit to Switzerland

A delegation led by the Chairman of the Board of the DOST Agency Farid Mammadov is on a visit to Switzerland. The purpose of the visit is to conduct consultations with the International Social Security Association (ISSA) in the field of social security, as well as exchange experience in this area.

On the first day, Farid Mammadov held a business meeting with ISSA Secretary General Mr. Marcelo Abi-Ramia Caetano. During the meeting, he provided information about the development of Azerbaijan's social security system, its priorities, and the steps taken. The parties discussed possibilities for improving and further developing social security systems, as well as prospects for expanding relations.

Following that, meetings were held with ISSA's Director of the Social Security Development Branch, Raul Ruggia-Frick, Director of the Communications Department Sigve Soldal Bjorstad, Recognition Program Manager Jeanine Maas, Technical Officer in Social Security Claudia Ambrosio, and other agency representatives. These events offered extensive information about the activities, service processes, and operating principles of the DOST Agency. Discussions covered issues related to the exchange of experience and information, as well as cooperation.

It should be noted that the DOST Agency was elected a member of the International Social Security Association in January of this year.
