A meeting was held regarding the activities of the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center (DİİYM), one of the economic entities established by the Sustainable and Operative Social Security (DOST) Agency. The Chairman of the Board of the DOST Agency, Farid Mammadov, opened the online meeting with an introductory speech, highlighting the main areas of activity of the Center, which was created under the initiative of First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva. It was noted that the Center is a place where skills of individuals from socially vulnerable groups are improved and significant measures are taken for the development of an inclusive society.
Speaking about the challenges and prospects ahead, Farid Mammadov provided information about the work done in the Center during the past period in this direction.
The reports on strategic planning, projects, finance, accounting, and procurement issues of the Center were then presented.
Elnarə Ənsari, the Acting Director of the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center, stated that branches in the regions are operating successfully. She emphasized the support provided by the DOST Agency in preparing the draft amendment to the Statute of DİİYM, creating new branches, and ensuring the legal support of the relevant documentation. It was mentioned that necessary assistance was provided in the legal expertise of conceptual documents, service passports, service and sales rules, contracts that are to be signed when necessary, new projects, as well as in other areas.
The meeting also highlighted that the unique experience of the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center has attracted the attention of international organizations working in the field of inclusive society globally.
The event also touched upon the "Voluntary DOST" program and its "Inclusive DOST" subprogram. It was noted that the participation of students, particularly those studying social work in higher education institutions, in this activity is highly important.
During the meeting, reports on the Center's activities were presented, and a decision was made to take into account the feedback and suggestions.
