Taking into account the interests of pensioners the new law project on pensions envisages the right of a pensioner to switch from one type of labor pension to another without exception.
According to Article 34 of the current Law on Labor Pensions, the transfer of a pensioner from retirement pension to a disability pension is restricted. It means that if a person receiving retirement pension is entitled to disability pension, he or she cannot refuse retirement pension to get disability pension.
The amendment to the new law project is aimed to remove this restriction. It means that any retiree will be able to switch to any other type of pension, which he or she is entitled to, according to his choice.
In this case, the pensioner's application will be considered within 10 working days at the latest, and it will be ensured that he / she will be transferred to another type of pension.
