"DOSTTALKS - Patriotic War"

The "DOSTTALKS - Patriotic War" event dedicated to the Karabakh victory was organized by the DOST Agency. The event was broadcasted online via ZOOM.


Welcoming the participants, Minister of Labor and Social Protection Sahil Babayev said that the Patriotic War is one of the most glorious pages in the history of Azerbaijan, and in just 44 days under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the Azerbaijani people won a great historical victory. The Minister noted that the speakers at the event fulfilled their duties to our people with dignity during the Patriotic War and supported our state, people and army with their work. Today, they will share with us what they have done and explain the reasons for their success.
Then the chairman of the Public Union of the Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno-Karabakh, MP Tural Ganjaliyev and the rector of the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyov, People's Artist Farhad Badalbeyli said that the youth policy pursued in recent years under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. The events that took place and the patriotic upbringing of the youth were the foundation of the great victory of our state in the Patriotic War. It was noted that in September, there were three factors necessary for victory - the unity of the state, army and people, and this unity led us to the glorious victory.
The event continued with a musical composition dedicated by DOST Volunteers to our Martyrs, who have the largest share in the victory.
Later, military reporter, TV presenter Heydar Mirza, graduate of the University of Brussels, participant of the Shusha battles Ulfat Hajiyev, Gorkhmaz Aydinli, who organized aid campaigns during the Great Patriotic War, Sadig Farzalibey, founder of the "American-style Baku" page, played an important role in the information war. Journalist Dashgin Aziz, a soldier wounded in the battles for Shusha, Turyan Mammadov, a resident of Chicago who raised $ 200,000 for the families of martyrs, Museyib Sharifzadeh, a doctor who treated our wounded soldiers and suffered a concussion as a result of the explosion, and Farid Pardeshunas, another active participant in the Information War. During their speeches, they spoke about memories of the Patriotic War, post-war life, the development of the military in Azerbaijan in recent years, the organization of aid campaigns, the work done in the information war, collecting aid to support the front and the families of martyrs. shared their thoughts and memories on the topics.
It should be noted that the event aims to instill a sense of patriotism in young people and motivate them in this direction. In total, about 500 participants joined the event via Zoom program, and a live broadcast was organized on the official Facebook page of the DOST Agency.
