A meeting of the Supervisory Council of the DOST Agency was held

The next meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Sustainable and Operational Social Provision Agency (DOST Agency) was held.

Members of the Council, chaired by Minister of Labor and Social Protection Sahil Babayev were assistant of the First Vice President Gunduz Karimov, Chairman of the State Agency for Citizen Services and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Small and Medium Business Development Orkhan Mammadov, the chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation Sattar Mohbaliyev, the president of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Mammad Musayev, the deputy minister of labor and social protection Anar Aliyev.

Babayev stressed that the Sustainable and Operational Social Provision Agency (DOST Agency), established by President Ilham Aliyev on August 9, 2018 and opened in May 2019, is a manifestation of reforms aimed at citizen satisfaction in the social sphere. He said that the DOST concept, initiated by First Vice President, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, allowed state social services to be built on modern and flexible, fully transparent mechanisms and provided through a "single window".

The Minister said that 3 DOST centers were opened in the capital in 2019-2020, and on March 30, 2021, DOST Center No. 4 was opened with the participation of the President. He noted that DOST centers provide services to more than 350,000 citizens, and the level of citizen satisfaction with these services is 97.2%.

Noting that currently there are 4 DOST centers in 10 districts of Baku, Babayev said that 1,915,200 people in Baku are already covered by DOST services. He said that by 2025, it is planned to open 16 regional DOST centers and reception branches in 46 districts. He said that the next DOST center will be opened in the Absheron region in the near future. Work is underway to establish DOST centers in Barda, Guba, Sabirabad, Sumgayit and Ganja.

A report on the activities of the DOST Agency for 2020 was submitted to the Council. The meeting approved a new version of the Strategic Plan of the Agency, the structure of the Agency and economic societies in connection with the optimization planned for the internal development of the Agency, etc. issues were discussed.
