A delegation of DOST Agency is on an official visit to Romania

The delegation led by Farid Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of DOST Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, is on an official visit to Romania. The purpose of the visit, which took place at the invitation of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy (Solidarity) of Romania, is to inform Romanian colleagues in detail about the DOST concept, which is the main element of the reforms implemented in the field of social protection in Azerbaijan, as well as to exchange experience in the field of social protection, employment and disability.
The members of the delegation of the DOST Agency visited the monument of the National leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, in Bucharest and expressed their deep respect.
During the visit, the Chairman of the Board of DOST Agency, Farid Mammadov, met with the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policy of Romania, Madalin-Cristian Vasilkou, and informed him about the concept of DOST, the principles of service organization with the "one-stop" model, the results of activities in this field, and the importance of social services.
Then the meeting was continued with the participation of the heads of relevant departments of the Ministry in a wider composition. The participants of the meeting were given detailed presentations on the working principles and service provision of the Agency and DOST centers, and discussions were held based on questions. The other side expressed their great interest in the DOST model and expressed their confidence that cooperation with the Azerbaijani side would be beneficial.
Also, the delegation of DOST Agency held meetings with the management of the National Employment Agency of Romania, the National Agency for Payments and Social Inspection, and the National Agency for the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. At the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the work done in the fields of employment, social protection and disability in their countries.
