The DOST concept, distinguished by its uniqueness and known as the brand of Azerbaijan, is already among the progressive practices of the world. The number of countries applying to learn the DOST experience is also increasing. Currently, international institutions are promoting the application of DOST practice in other countries.
This was announced at the next meeting of the Supervisory Board of the DOST Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
Chairman of the Council, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev noted that DOST Agency and DOST centers were established by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated August 9, 2018.
As a result of the DOST project initiated by First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, state social services in Azerbaijan are provided through modern and flexible, fully transparent mechanisms, from a "single window". In the past period, the satisfaction level of citizens with these services was 98.2 percent.
It was reported that this experience is highly appreciated at the international level: this year alone, DOST Agency was awarded 6 international awards. Recently, DOST Agency was awarded the Certificate of Excellence by the International Social Security Association at the World Social Security Forum (Morocco).
At the meeting, Farid Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of DOST Agency, made a presentation on the Agency's activities this year.
It was reported that DOST Agency and 5 DOST centers were opened in May 2019. This year, 471,500 citizens were served in DOST centers, and 1,122,650 citizens were served in the last period. In the centers, 153 services in the fields of social protection and social security, medical and social expertise and rehabilitation, social insurance, labor and employment are provided from "one window".
At the meeting, the results of this year's activities of the DOST Agency and the upcoming goals were discussed.
