Trainings for increasing digital literacy have been started

A new cooperation has been started in the direction of increasing the digital literacy of the population. For this purpose, the training was organized by the Innovation and Digital Development Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the DOST Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population and the Azerbaijan Youth Fund.

During the training, the mentors of the DOST Agency and the Innovation and Digital Development Agency shared their experiences on electronic government services and digital skills in the social field with more than 50 young people.

At the training, Ashraf Gurbanov, a senior specialist of the DOST Services Department of the DOST Agency, made presentations on "Application of e-services in the social sphere", and Javid Abdullayev, a senior specialist of the same department, made presentations on electronic state services related to the National Social Security Agency (e-sosial.az, IMAS). The Innovation and Digital Development Agency's projects in the field of digital literacy and digital transformation were also discussed. Extensive information was provided about the "Technest" Scholarship Program, implemented from 2021, in order to create a bank of professional specialists in Information and Communication Technologies.

It should be noted that the first training was held on November 28 at the "Globus Plaza" business center.
