A cooperation document was signed between the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population and the Ministry of Manpower of Indonesia

The delegations headed by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev and the Minister of Manpower of Indonesia Ida Fauzia had a video conference meeting.

S. Babayev said that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Indonesia, that in the past period the agenda of cooperation between the two countries was formed in various fields and that they cooperated very actively at the level of international organizations.

He drew attention to the historic Victory of the Azerbaijan Army in the 44-day Patriotic War under the leadership of the President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev. He expressed his gratitude for Indonesia's continuous political support to our country, including during the Patriotic War.

Noting that our territories were freed from the occupation of Armenia and the restoration and construction works carried out in those territories, S.Babayev informed that the provocations committed by Armenia pose a threat to ensuring peace and tranquility in the region.

It was brought to attention that the reforms carried out in the field of labor, employment and social protection in Azerbaijan, the DOST concept, and the housing headquarters of the Islamic Labor Organization, which will be located in Baku, will contribute to the development of relations between the member countries of the Organization.

During the meeting, S. Babayev invited I. Fauzia to visit Azerbaijan.
