In the post-war period, services were provided to 122,000 family members of martyrs and war participants

In the period after the 44-day Patriotic War, in which the Azerbaijani Army won a historic victory under the leadership of the President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, large-scale social support measures are being implemented for the family members of our martyrs and war participants.

Within this social support package implemented by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population:

  • 114,000 monthly social payments were assigned to 102,000 people, one-time payments were assigned to 16,800 people, insurance payments were given to 3100 people;
  • From the beginning of 2021, grants for family members of martyrs, persons with war-related disabilities and National Heroes, social benefits from the beginning of 2022 have been increased by an average of 60 percent;
  • The housing program for the families of martyrs and persons with war-related disabilities was expanded 5 times and provided them with 4,500 apartments, private houses and 324 cars for persons with war-related disabilities;
  • 36,700 social-psychological support and rehabilitation services were provided to 11,000 members of martyr families and war participants;
  • 1.8 thousand people with war-related disabilities were provided with 30.7 thousand rehabilitation tools, 387 people with 403 high-tech modern prostheses;
  • Employment of 16,500 people, including members of martyrs' families and war participants, was provided, including 9,500 people involved in the self-employment program;
  • Services were provided to 71.7 thousand people, including members of martyrs' families and war participants, in the unified coordination centers, etc.



    In general, in the post-war period, the mentioned social support package covered 122 thousand people, and 264 thousand support-oriented services were provided to them.
