Azerbaijan-Serbia relations are developing

The delegation headed by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, the Azerbaijani co-chairman of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Serbia Sahil Babayev visited the monument of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia.

Sahil Babayev participated in the official reception held in that country on the occasion of the national holiday of Serbia - Statehood Day and expressed his congratulations.

Within the framework of the visit, there was a meeting between Sahil Babayev and the Minister of Family Welfare and Demography of Serbia, Mrs. Daria Kisic. At the meeting, it was emphasized that with the political will and efforts of the heads of state of Azerbaijan and Serbia, relations between the two countries are constantly developing and rising to the level of strategic partnership. It was emphasized that the bilateral cooperative relations covering various fields are also gradually expanding in the social field.

In accordance with the tasks of President Ilham Aliyev, information was provided on the social reforms carried out in our country, DOST concept, innovative approaches in state social services, and wide application of digital technologies. Social protection programs implemented for vulnerable groups were mentioned. The positive processes in the field of demography and population settlement in Azerbaijan, as well as the preparation of demographic forecasts in our country, were brought to attention.
