Monthly social benefits

• Lifetime social benefit for civil servants

Eligibility condition:

According to the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Civil Service", civil servants holding administrative or auxiliary positions who voluntarily retire due to reaching the pension age or due to disability, and who have a minimum of 15 years of service in civil positions but are not entitled to receive a labor pension.

Benefit amount:

15% of the civil servant’s last official salary for their main position.

 

 

• Monthly social benefit for age

Eligibility condition:

Persons who are incapable of working, not entitled to a labor pension, and are unemployed.

Benefit amount:

220 AZN

 

 

 

• Monthly social benefit for disability

Eligibility condition:

Persons who are incapable of working and not entitled to a labor pension.

Benefit amount:

 

* For individuals with 81–100% loss of bodily functions – 300 AZN

* For individuals with 61–80% loss – 250 AZN

* For individuals with 31–60% loss – 180 AZN

 

 

 

• Monthly social benefit for the loss of the head of the family

Eligibility condition:

Persons incapable of working and not entitled to a labor pension; or caregivers (not working) of children under 8 years whose parents, siblings, or grandparents have died.

Benefit amount:

140 AZN

 

 

 

• Monthly benefit for caring for a child under 3 years old

Eligibility condition:

A person on partially paid social leave as determined by the relevant executive authority.

Benefit amount:

 

* For care up to 1.5 years of age – 44 AZN

* For care from 1.5 to 3 years – 28 AZN

 

 

 

• Monthly benefit for children of active-duty military servicemen

Eligibility condition:

When the parent is on mandatory military service.

Benefit amount:

140 AZN

 

 

 

• Monthly benefit for guardians of orphans or children deprived of parental care

Eligibility condition:

When a legal guardian (appointed by the relevant authority) qualifies for targeted state social assistance, and the child is not fully supported by the state.

Benefit amount:

140 AZN

 

 

 

• Monthly benefit for low-income families with children under 1 year

Eligibility condition:

Family qualifies for targeted state social assistance.

Benefit amount:

140 AZN

 

 

 

• Monthly benefit to the spouse or dependent child of a deceased former President of Azerbaijan

Eligibility condition:

As defined by the Constitutional Law "On Provision of Former Presidents and Their Families".

Benefit amount:

50% of the pension that would be paid to the former President.

 

 

 

• Monthly benefit for women with more than five children

Eligibility condition:

Women who have given birth to and raised more than five children, provided the children are alive, starting from when the child causing eligibility turns one.

Benefit amount:

140 AZN

 

 

 

• Monthly benefit for adopted children, including children with disabilities

Eligibility condition:

From January 1, 2021, adoptive parents of children aged 3–18 who are orphans or deprived of parental care (with a court decision on adoption).

Benefit amount:

 

* For each adopted child aged 3–18 – 240 AZN

* For each adopted child with a disability – 600 AZN

 

 

 

• Monthly benefit for upbringing of children placed in foster families, including children with disabilities

Eligibility condition:

When a contract is signed between the foster parent(s) and the relevant authority for placement of a child aged 0–18 in foster care.

Benefit amount:

 

* For children aged 0–6: 355 AZN

* Aged 7–13: 375 AZN

* Aged 14–18: 395 AZN

  Children under the age of 18 with disabilities:

* Aged 0–6: 500 AZN

* Aged 7–13: 600 AZN

* Aged 14–18: 650 AZN
