It is an active employment measure conducted by local branches of the State Employment Agency or DOST centers under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Azerbaijan to assist job seekers and unemployed people in finding employment by establishing direct contact with employers.

Creating opportunities for employers to select staff;

Awareness of job seekers and unemployed people about active labor market programs, vacancies, job search methods, self-presentation in the labor market, advice on choosing a career.

 

What are the forms of organization of job fairs?

General fairs on professions and specialties covering all sectors of the economy;

Mini fairs held in accordance with the requirements of the local labor market in different regions;

Fairs specializing in different sectors of the economy, taking into account the requirements of the labor market.

 

What is the initial work of local bodies of the State Employment Agency or "DOST" centers under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the organization of labor fairs?

For the organization of fairs, the real needs of employers are studied on the basis of available vacancies by local agencies of the Agency or "DOST" centers.

 

Which organization develops the schedule of job fairs?

Taking into account the demand, the schedule of fairs for each administrative territorial unit is subordinated to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Job fairs get organized by the State Employment Agency.

 

What period are the job fairs organized for?

The fair is organized according to the approved schedule, but not less than once a month.

 

When is the action plan of job fairs prepared?

The agency prepares and approves an action plan no later than the 20th day of the month preceding the month in which the fair is organized.

 

What information is reflected in the action plan?

Place, date and time of the fair;

Number of job seekers and unemployed people participating in the fair, level of education, distribution by professions and specialties;

Number of employers (enterprises) to participate in the fair, area of ​​economic activity;

Number of vacancies to be presented at the fair, distribution by professions and specialties;

Cost estimate for the fair.

 

How can citizens get information about the organization of job fairs?

Information on the organization of fairs is posted on the official website of the Ministry, in the e-cabinet of job seekers and registered as unemployed in the Employment Subsystem (ESS).

 

What is a labor exchange?

It is a service provided by the Agency's local agencies or DOST centers to provide temporary employment for unemployed and job-seekers on the basis of orders received from legal entities or individuals.

In what form is the employment of applicants provided as a result of the activity of the labor exchange?

The exchange provides employment of job seekers and unemployed people by engaging them in one-time, short-term, seasonal work at the request of the customer (legal entities or individuals ordering the exchange).

 

Who can participate in the exchange?

A person registered as a job seeker or unemployed has the right to be registered at the labor exchange.

 

What should a job seeker and unemployed person who wants to register on the stock exchange do?

To do this, the person must fill out the "Application-Request" form (in accordance with Annex 1 to the "Organization and operation of labor exchanges and job fairs") in the ESS using the existing authentication tools of the "e-government" or "e-sosial" portals.

 

How are orders accepted by the exchange?

Acceptance of orders by the Exchange Receipt by the Customer on the basis of the "Application- Request" form filled in and approved in accordance with Annex 2 to the Rules "Organization and operation of labor exchanges and job fairs" in ESS, by phone, directly to the Agency's local offices or "DOST" centers

 

How is an exchange order registered when it is received by telephone?

Information on each order received by telephone and the person fulfilling it is entered into the ESS by the local agencies of the Agency or "DOST" centers.

 

How is the relationship between the customer and the job seeker or unemployed person regulated?

Relations between the parties are governed by an employment contract or a civil law contract.
