Services provided in the field of foster family

The creation of a foster family is carried out in the following 3 (three) stages:

• registration of the person(s) wishing to become a foster parent;

• determining the compatibility of what is being transferred to a foster family with the interests of the child;

• conclusion of an agreement on the transfer of a child to a foster family between a body (institution) determined by the relevant executive authority and the person (persons) wishing to become a foster parent.

Compliance with the interests of the child, placement in a foster family is determined by the body (institution) determined by the relevant executive authority, in the following order:

• conducting an interview with the person (persons) wishing to become a foster parent, and determining the material and living conditions of this person (persons);

• involving in training a person (persons) who wishes to become a foster parent;

• selection of a suitable child for the person(s) wishing to become a foster parent and a suitable person(s) to place the child in a foster family.
