During COP29 held in Baku, the first event of "Inclusion Day" featured a visit to the exhibition presented by the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center, which operates under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
The event included a presentation of the inclusive performance "How Much is Enough?" by the "DanceAbility" Azerbaijan Social Enterprise, as well as a display of hand bikes.
The Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Sahil Babayev, and the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security of Turkey, Lütfihak Alpkan, explored over 50 handmade items created by the Center's beneficiaries and trainers, as well as the "DOST House" branch
The inclusive performance "How Much is Enough?" by the "DanceAbility" Azerbaijan Social Enterprise was also presented.
To ensure accessibility, the unique performance was provided with subtitles and audio descriptions. It is worth noting that during the panel discussions held as part of the performance, featuring both persons with and without disabilities, sign language interpretation was also provided.
As an inclusive contribution to the COP29 event, the Azerbaijan Association of Disabled Cyclists presented a section showcasing hand bikes, aiming to bring everyone together through inclusive sports.
Amid Hasanguliyev, the chairman of the Association, provided information, emphasizing that the event, based on the slogan "Hand Bikes for Everyone," aims to support the building of an inclusive society.
