The socio-economic activity of young people with disabilities is being supported

The initiative titled “Supporting the Socio-Economic Activity of Youth with Disabilities”, carried out by the DOST Agency in collaboration with the State Employment Agency, remains in progress. 

As part of the Students’ Acceleration Program, two beneficiaries of the project have been employed at the Financial Department and the IT Services and Support Department of “PASHA Life Insurance” OJSC. By working in a modern professional environment, the young participants have gained valuable opportunities to develop their skills, integrate into the labor market, and move toward higher professional positions.

Another partner of the program, STEP IT Academy, has organized training sessions aimed at equipping youth with up-to-date knowledge and skills in technical fields. Participants who took part in professional training on graphic design and other areas were awarded certificates for their successful results.

The goal of the project is to help young people with disabilities become a workforce that meets the demands of the labor market, to enhance their employment opportunities and skills, to provide them with practical experience, and to change negative attitudes and stereotypes in society about disability.
