A meeting was held on the protection of the rights of persons with disabilities

As part of the state monitoring of the rights of persons with disabilities, a meeting was held at the DOST Agency. The event, focused on “Provision of Loans and Life Insurance to Persons with Disabilities,” was attended by members of the State Monitoring Commission, as well as representatives of non-governmental organizations and banks.

During the meeting, information was presented on the Commission’s activities and the work carried out. This was followed by discussions on the topic. Participants exchanged views on banking products for persons with disabilities, as well as on the accessibility of bank branches and ATMs.

The participants shared their opinions and suggestions regarding the issues discussed.
