A roundtable dedicated to inclusive employment and cooperation opportunities was held within the Students’ Acceleration Program, implemented by the DOST Agency to support the socio-economic activity of young people with disabilities.
The event brought together representatives of government institutions, employers, partner organizations, and program participants. The aim of the meeting was to expand internship and employment opportunities for young people with disabilities, as well as to discuss existing potential and future cooperation prospects in this field.
During the roundtable, a presentation was delivered on the activities implemented within the framework of the project, the results achieved, and future goals. It was noted that since 2023, the program has achieved significant progress in supporting the personal and professional development of young people with disabilities. Within the project, participants are provided with soft skills development, sector-specific training, mentorship, internship opportunities, and assessment of employment prospects.
Discussions focused on cooperation opportunities with partner organizations, the promotion of an inclusive work environment, and strengthening the integration of young people with disabilities into the labor market. Success stories of beneficiaries were also shared, highlighting the positive impact of the program on their lives.
At the end of the event, the importance of further expanding partnerships between public institutions, the private sector, and civil society organizations in the field of inclusive employment was emphasized.
