547 people joined the “Volunteer DOST” program from January to April

A total of 14,000 applications were received for the “Volunteer DOST” program during January–April of this year, and 547 people joined the program.

The program plays an important role in the development of the volunteering movement in Azerbaijan. It includes several sub-programs such as “Young DOST,” “Silver DOST” (for elderly people), “Remote DOST,” “Corporate DOST,” “Inclusive DOST,” “DigiDOST,” and “TeleDOST.”

Volunteers help at DOST centers by welcoming citizens, directing them to service desks, managing queues and customer flow, providing information, and assisting with e-systems.

They contribute to the delivery of state social services through a “one-stop shop” model based on citizen satisfaction.

The program also supports participants in gaining practical experience in customer service, developing professional skills, and taking their first successful steps in their career development.
