Delegation of Turkiye visits DOST Agency

A delegation led by Adnan Yılmaz, Deputy Director General of the Information Technologies General Directorate of the Social Security Institution of the Republic of Türkiye (Sosyal Güvenlik Kurumu), who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, visited the DOST Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

The guests first visited Baku DOST Center No. 1, where they were introduced to the services provided to the public and the center’s operating principles.

During the subsequent meeting, Seymur Aliyev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the DOST Agency, informed the guests about the reforms carried out in Azerbaijan in recent years in the fields of labor, employment and social protection, as well as about the DOST concept. It was noted that 164 types of services in the social sector are provided at DOST centers based on the “one-stop shop” principle. It was emphasized that Azerbaijan’s experience in DOST and e-services has received a number of international awards, while several countries have expressed interest in applying these practices. 

A presentation on the DOST concept was delivered for the delegation, followed by an exchange of views on bilateral cooperation.
