New job referrals issued under the “Friend of the Unemployed” programme in Nakhchivan

Another group of citizens has received job referrals under the “Friend of the Unemployed” programme at the Nakhchivan Regional DOST Center.

The individuals were selected from among citizens registered as unemployed and jobseekers with the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

They will work in landscaping and beautification, park and public space maintenance, social services, and other areas.

The “Friend of the Unemployed” programme implemented by the DOST Employment Center aims to support the employment of unemployed and jobseeking individuals, help them acquire basic professional knowledge and skills, and expand their access to the labor market.

Under the programme, an employment contract is concluded with each person engaged in paid public works. This provides a basis for safeguarding their labor and social protection rights in the future.

The Nakhchivan Regional DOST Center provides 164 social services, including employment services, on a one-stop-shop basis.
