DOST brought joy to schoolchildren in remote villages

This year, the DOST Agency once again brought joy to schoolchildren living in remote villages as part of the start of the new school year.

As part of the “Joy from DOST” project, school supplies collected from DOST employees and participants of the “DOST Volunteer” programme were presented as gifts to primary school students living in remote villages.

DOST employees brought joy to students at Sh. Orujov Secondary School No. 1 in Hasanabad settlement, Neftchala District; Mehman Safarov Gymnasium for Integrated Education in Neftchala; and Samad Vurgun Secondary School No. 2 in Banka settlement.

This year, employees of the Nakhchivan Regional DOST Center also joined the project, presenting school supplies to students at the secondary school in Guney Kishlag village, Shahbuz District, and the secondary school in Goynuk village, Babek District.

A total of 227 students received school supplies as part of the “Joy from DOST” project. Organized by the “DOST Volunteer” programme, the project aims to strengthen the culture of corporate social responsibility, raise awareness among local communities about the DOST concept, and bring joy to schoolchildren—particularly children starting first grade—while highlighting the importance of education.

It should be noted that Favorite Premium Market supported the project as a partner.

We extend our thanks to every DOST employee and volunteer who took part in the project.
