
The application period for the “AI4DOST Social Award 2026” international competition, organized as part of the “SOCGOV 2026 – Digital Analysis for Smart Governance” international forum to be held in Khankendi in October this year, has closed.
A total of 84 applications were submitted to the competition organized by the DOST Agency. Of these, 32 applications were registered under the international track and 52 under the national track. Following the analysis of the submissions, a total of 32 projects qualified for the preliminary evaluation stage. Of these, 17 were submitted under the international competition (from Ukraine, Greece, Uzbekistan, Russia, and other countries), while 15 were submitted under the national competition.
It should be recalled that the main objective of the international competition is to identify, widely showcase, and promote best practices, innovative solutions, and initiatives with high social impact in the social sector. The competition is held across four main categories: "AI-Driven digital solutions in the social sector" "Social volunteering and civic initiatives" "Scientific contribution to social sector development" "Regional social initiative". It also includes individual nominations: “Young Social Innovator of the Year,” “Social Transformation Leader / Initiator,” and “For a Sustained Contribution to the Development of the Social Sector.”
It should be noted that the evaluation of the submitted applications is currently underway. The awards ceremony for the competition winners will be held as part of the “SOCGOV 2026” forum, which will take place in Khankendi in October this year.
