Meeting Held with Turkish Delegation at the Ministry

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population held a meeting with a delegation of the Republic of Türkiye led by Adnan Ertem, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection.

Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev noted that relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye are based on brotherhood and strategic alliance. He emphasized that, as in other areas, cooperation between the two countries in the field of labor and social protection continues to develop and expand.

The Minister provided information on the achievements of the social reforms carried out in Azerbaijan in recent years under the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev and highlighted the successful cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of Türkiye throughout this reform process.

The importance of the targeted work carried out by the Joint Permanent Commission of the two ministries to develop cooperation in the field of labor and social protection was highlighted. It was noted that regular contacts and mutual visits make an important contribution to deepening relations.

Adnan Ertem expressed satisfaction with the continued development and expansion of cooperation and emphasized the importance of exchanging experience.

The meeting discussed the cooperation agenda between the two ministries and issues related to further developing cooperation in the field of social protection.
