“Exchange Waste for Saplings” campaign continues in Shuvalan

Another “Exchange Waste for Saplings” campaign was held in the Shuvalan settlement of Baku’s Khazar District, organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources with the support of the Agency for Sustainable and Operational Social Provision (DOST).

As part of the campaign, residents handed over a total of 456 liters of plastic waste and 45 liters of glass waste, receiving Eldar pine, cypress, pomegranate and almond saplings in exchange.

The initiative aims to promote waste sorting and recycling, protect green spaces, raise environmental awareness and contribute to a healthier environment.
