The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population introduced electronic entitlement system of the Presidential monthly benefits to persons with disabilities of first group, as well as caused by war and events of January 20.
In this regard, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Anar Karimov said that according to the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, one of the areas of reform implemented by the Ministry is to improve electronic public services in the areas of labour, employment and social security, and to establish a system of proactive citizen services. The automated mechanism of pension entitlement was introduced in the beginning of 2019. In October-November this year, the ministry introduced the use of one-time childbirth benefits, monthly allowances for children with disabilities, and the President's monthly benefit for carer of a child with disability. Through these e-systems, more than 15,000 people have already received pensions, up to 14,000 allowances and benefits.
According to the Deputy Minister, the entitlement of President's monthly benefit for persons with disabilities of first group, as well as caused by war and January 20, will also be made electronically. These e-systems will cover more than 3,000 individuals a year. Thus, in the past period of the current year, the appointment of up to 10 types of social security has been electronized. In the near future new e-systems will also be put into operation.
Karimov said that six new e-reference services were also introduced based on the database of the Ministry's e-social internet portal. He said that the number of e-services of the ministry reached 8. By the end of December this figure will be increased to 15. There is a mobile application for the Android operating system of the e-social portal, which combines 16 electronic subsystems and 2 registers. The e-social mobile application for the IOS operating system is already being launched. This will allow citizens to easily use the e-social internet portal and make the portal more accessible.
