The participants of the Patriotic War were awarded with the title of "War Veteran" and the Presidential Grant

Pursuant to the Order of President Ilham Aliyev dated December 29, 2021, the participants of the Patriotic War were awarded with the title of "War Veteran" and the President's monthly grant.

Initially, on the basis of the list agreed with the Cabinet of Ministers by the State Security Service and the State Border Service, servicemen of these agencies who participated in combat operations for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan from September 27 to November 10, 2020 were named "War Veterans". .

Information on SBS participants was entered into the "Victory" subsystem of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.

From January 1, 2022, the Ministry will award a monthly grantof the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (80 manat) to those servicemen whose information is included in the subsystem.

Grants are awarded proactively through the e-system, without the application of servicemen, without the submission of any documents. Irrespective of the date of appointment, the appointment date is formalized and paid from January 1, 2022.

At present, other agencies (Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Emergency Situations, State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, etc.) are working on the naming and awarding of pensions.

The process of awarding the title of "War Veteran" to all participants of the Great Patriotic War and awarding the President's monthly grant will be completed in the coming days.

From the moment the President's monthly grant as a war veteran is determined, an SMS will be sent to the phone number in the person's name, as well as from which bank he will receive the pension card.
