Presidential grants were awarded to servicemen in two other organizations, who were named "War Veterans"

Pursuant to the Order of President Ilham Aliyev dated December 29, 2021, two more agencies - the Ministry of Justice and the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription - according to the list prepared by the Cabinet of Ministers from September 27 to November 10, 2020? the servicemen who took part in the combat operations for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan during this period were named "War Veterans".

The information about these servicemen, who were named "war veterans", was included in the "Victory" subsystem of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.

The Ministry awarded them a monthly pension of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (80 manat) in a proactive manner through the e-system, without any appeals and without submitting any documents.

The pension was issued on January 1, 2022 and is paid from that time.

Earlier, servicemen of the State Security Service and the State Border Service were named "War Veterans" and awarded a monthly pension by the President.

At present, other agencies (Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Emergency Situations, etc.) are working on the naming and awarding of pensions.

The process of awarding the title of "War Veteran" to all participants of the Great Patriotic War and awarding the President's monthly pension will be completed in the coming days.

As soon as the President's monthly pension as a war veteran is determined, an SMS is sent to the phone number in the person's name, as well as from which bank he will receive the pension card.
