Information on the DOST concept was provided at the TURKPA seminar

Chairman of the Board of DOST Agency Farid Mammadov had a speech at the seminar of TURKPA in Baku. The seminar was dedicated to "Encouraging entrepreneurship of socially vulnerable groups: realities and prospects." Farid Mammadov spoke about reforms to improve the welfare of the population in the social sphere, as well as increase citizen satisfaction.

According to him, the DOST project, created on the initiative of First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva, envisages the provision of social services to the population from the "single window" in an efficient, transparent and polite manner, as well as on the principle of civic convenience. He said that DOST centers provide total number of 154 services on labor and employment, social security, targeted state social assistance, disability and rehabilitation, pensions, social insurance, social welfare, training, etc.

Noting that 17 DOST centers and 55 DOST branches will be launched in the country by 2025, Farid Mammadov added that DOST services will cover the entire territory of Azerbaijan.

Aygun Musayeva, Director of the DOST Services Department of the DOST Agency, also made a presentation at the seminar. He informed the seminar participants about the services provided by the DOST Agency, including employment services, in particular the self-employment program.

Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Tahir Mirkishili, TURKPA Secretary General Mehmet Sureyya Er, Deputy Chairman of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency Samir Humbatov, Deputy Chairman of the TURKPA Commission on Social, Cultural and Humanitarian Affairs Nizami Jafarov and others attended the event. 

It should be noted that the purpose of the seminar is to support the involvement of socially vulnerable groups in entrepreneurship and to find solutions to this issue at the legislative level.
