A meeting of the joint regular Committee on cooperation in labor and social protection between Azerbaijan and Turkey has started

The 10th meeting of the joint regular Committee on cooperation between the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Turkey has started in Istanbul.

At the opening of the meeting, Minister of Labor and Social Protection Sahil Babayev congratulated Turkish Minister of Labor and Social Protection Vedat Bilgin and his staff on May 19 - Ataturk Remembrance, Youth and Sports Day.

Emphasizing the successful development of bilateral friendly and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey in all areas, Babayev said the joint efforts of the two brotherly countries played an important role in ensuring this development.

He noted that Azerbaijan and Turkey have always been together, and demonstrated this to the whole world during the Second Karabakh War. He stressed that with the signing of the Shusha Declaration, Azerbaijani-Turkish relations have risen to the level of alliance.

Noting the importance of further strengthening relations with Turkey in the field of labor, employment and social protection, Babayev spoke about the reforms in the field of labor, employment and social protection in our country. He expressed confidence that the meeting of the Joint Standing Committee will also serve to further expand cooperation between the two ministries.

Bilgin stressed that Azerbaijan is a friendly and brotherly country for Turkey. Noting that the two countries have always stood by each other and relations are constantly developing, Bilgin stressed that efforts are being made to develop relations in the field of labor and social protection. He noted the importance of active exchange of experience between the two ministries in the reform process.

The meeting of the joint regular Committee will consider the work done in the implementation of cooperation documents signed between the two ministries in the past.

Further expansion of cooperation in relevant areas, application of best practices in the social sphere, DOST concept, widespread use of e-services, rehabilitation services for people with disabilities, including war invalids, labor and employment reforms and exchange of experience and information in other areas are discussed. .
