A job fair was held in Sumgait

The State Employment Service under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population held a job fair for the unemployed and jobseekers in Sumgait.

The event was attended by 10 state and 30 private companies. 719 vacancies were provided to the unemployed and jobseekers. Those who came to the fair were given call-up papers for the vacancies.

The job fairs for 2020 started in January of this year and have already held active employment events in 16 cities and regions. More than 5,000 unemployed citizens got jobs through the job fairs. In total, 100 job fairs are planned to be held in 58 cities and regions of the country this year.
