New DOST Centers, rehabilitation and vocational training institutions are being established in the regions

Currently, the creation of new DOST Centers and branches, rehabilitation and vocational training institutions is underway in the regions of our country. This was announced at the board meeting held at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev emphasized that in accordance with the order of President Ilham Aliyev, the work is being continued in the field of expanding the network of DOST Centers throughout the country and creating new vocational training centers.

He emphasized that the opening of the Karabakh Regional DOST Center and the Karabakh Regional Vocational Training Center in Barda on August 7 with the participation of the head of state is an important step in this direction. He said that more than 900,000 people in 9 administrative regions, including people who returned to their native lands under the Great Return program, will be covered by DOST services in this center.

Moreover, it was brought to attention that the Karabakh Regional Vocational Training Center will play a special role in increasing the employment opportunities in that region and in acquiring the professional skills of the labor force in accordance with the requirements of the labor market. It was said that DOST branches will be established in the region, including that a DOST branch will be opened in Shusha.

It was noted that the major repair and reconstruction works of Psychoneurological Social Service Institution No. 2 in the city of Shamakhi have already been completed. Construction of DOST infrastructure in Nakhchivan, Guba, Sabirabad, Sumgait, Ganja, Masalli, Sheki and other cities and regions, Vocational Training Centers in Masalli and Sabirabad, Child Rehabilitation Centers in Agjabadi and Guba, etc. creation works are underway.
