Delegations of Islamic countries got acquainted with the DOST experience of Azerbaijan

Delegations of Islamic countries that visited our country to participate in the V Conference of Labor Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Baku visited the DOST Center as part of their visit.

The guests were informed about the innovations that the DOST concept has brought to the system of public social services of our country.

It was reported that since May 2019, by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev, the Agency and 7 DOST Centers were opened. The DOST concept, initiated by First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, made it possible to provide 159 services in social spheres according to the “single window” principle, promptly, transparently, in accordance with the convenience and satisfaction of citizens.

Over the 10 months of this year, 578 thousand citizen requests were registered at DOST centers, and in total for the last period - 1.8 million. It was noted that the level of citizen satisfaction with services is 97.7%. The “Volunteer DOST” program and the expansion of the network of centers were noted.

It was stated that the DOST practice is highly regarded by authoritative international institutions as a leading practice, the DOST Agency has been awarded many international awards, and preparations are underway to apply the DOST practice in other countries.
