At a meeting with the Turkish delegation, further cooperation in the field of labor and social protection was discussed

Relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, based on the principles of friendship, brotherhood, and unity of peoples, have reached the level of a strategic partnership through joint efforts of the heads of state. These relations in the field of labor, employment, and social protection are consistently expanding, as highlighted by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Sahil Babayev, during a meeting with a delegation headed by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Turkey, Vedat Ishikhan. The minister emphasized the importance of further strengthening these relations.

It was reported that over the past period, relations between the two countries in the field of labor, employment, and social protection have constantly expanded, resulting in the signing of 7 cooperation documents in this area. The Joint Standing Commission on cooperation in the field of labor and social protection between the two ministries plays a crucial role in expanding these relations, with the 11th meeting of the Commission planned for next year.

Ishikhan expressed satisfaction with his visit to Azerbaijan, emphasizing its status as a brotherly country for Turkey. He stated that constant efforts are underway to expand bilateral relations, and successful experiences of cooperation have been accumulated. Discussions during the meeting between the two ministries covered future cooperation in the areas of labor, employment, social protection, disability, and rehabilitation.

It was noted that the delegation is visiting our country to participate in the V Conference of Labor Ministers of the OIC member countries, held in Baku.
