The Ministerial Session of the OIC Labor Ministers Conference has started

The ministerial session of the V conference of labor ministers of the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is taking place in Baku. The meeting began with the reading of verses from the Holy Quran.

At the event, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev addressed the participants of the V Conference of Labor Ministers of the OIC member countries, held in Baku. The text of the appeal was read by Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department of Economic Policy and Industry of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Natig Amirov.

The meeting heard a speech by Adnan Abdullah Al-Nuaim, Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Development of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in his capacity as Chairman of the 4th Conference of OIC Ministers of Labor. Then the chairman of the conference and the composition of the bureau were elected.

The conference participants were presented with a video message from the Director General of the International Labor Organization, Gilbert Houngbo. He expressed congratulations on the opening of the OIC Labor Center in Baku. In accordance with the new calls, he emphasized that he supports holding a similar conference on current issues in Baku, where active discussions are taking place.

During the session, the presentation of the meeting agenda and report on preparation for the session, demonstration of videos about the DOST concept and electronic services in the social sphere in our country, speeches by ministers and heads of delegations of member countries, consideration and adoption of the draft resolution of the session, briefing by the conference chairman and general Secretary of the OIC for the press.
